Derwent Water sunset
It's been far too long since I was last in the Lake District. Went to see some friends in Keswick at the weekend who have a caravan on the shores of Derwent Water. Went for a run on Saturday morning with Ang and my wife up Walla Crag and round to Ashness Bridge and along the shores of the lake, a beautiful run, but very tough in parts. I was keeping my eye on the weather (sort of overcast but sun creeping through now and then) just in case it promised a sunset later on. Managed to nip out (just as the FA Cup Final was coming to a close) and down to the lake, which was very handily, just a short walk from their caravan. There were half a dozen or so other photographers around to witness a fine sunset. I soon realised I had been caught up in the moment and my wife and friends were waiting patiently for me to return so we could have a bbq . . . and very nice it was ;o)
