Jon says: Crouchy69 has a superb photostream including many marvellous images taken of the Australian shoreline. Those folk who get up early enough often find and deserve to be in the right place at the right time. I am in awe of decent landscape photographers. There are a few in The Bistro and Glen is one of them..

Jon says: "There is a saying that youth is wasted on the young. That may be true, but not always. Sometimes they know exactly what to do with it." Laurarama is a talented Bistro contributor. I have really enjoyed viewing her photo stream. Freedom, joy and optimism, what a lovely image.

Jon says: Jeff is one of the premier photographers who submit to "The Bistro" group pool. His landscape photography is second to none, I love this B&W offering, the reflection and tonal quality is wonderful. Thanks for sharing Jeff.

Jon says: Danbo is a Japanese cardboard robot that originally appeared in the manga 'Yotsuba&!' in 2007. Danbo is seen as an icon of curious innocence. I had never heard of this until I noticed a few flickr friends introducing them into photos. It looks like Deborah is about to have a bit of fun with her new friend...

Jon says: Beautifully cropped, classy rose picture. Shame about the watermark but Philip recently discovered that some of his photos have been displayed online by individuals claiming to be the original photographer.... Works really well in B&W, I don't know if I would have thought of that. An excellent photostream too, well worth a visit.

Jon says: Kiwi Steve does it again, sharp as, great DOF, classy parrot pic. I had set myself against putting bird pictures in this gallery, but this beauty demanded to be included. Nice work Steve.

Jon says: Bjarne.winkler is not afraid to experiment and take a few chances. This piece is well conceived and beautifully produced. A lot of effort has gone in, nice to see work like this in 'The Bistro' ...."There are four lights going here. The green in the back is from my outdoors light controlled by the vertical blinds. One quick flash of a white LED on the front of the shoes. I used a red LED to light the inside of the shoes and then I have a type of battery driven glow stick that I used to produce the flames coming out of the shoes." ..... I enjoyed reading his full explanation..
