This Graeco-Roman temple was built by the 18th-Dynasty pharaoh Tuthmosis III in honour of the ram-headed god Khnum.
This panel depicts the pharaoh (presumably Tuthmosis III) standing 2nd from the left, being showered with eternal life by the god Thoth (left) who was the god of writing and knowledge, usually depicted with the head of an ibis. 2nd from the right is the god Horus, god of the sky and protector of kings. Sekhmet, goddess of War looks on. (She has the face of a lion)
