Paul, The Expiring Rock Star (...or Fabio, he ain't)
Alright so, a number of weeks back I got shanghaied into pretending I was some kind of Fabio without the hair, jawline and all that other shit he's got going on and was to pose for some shots by one photographer extraordinaire: JW Vraets
He was and currently is in the midst of a project where composites are created with two shots taken in entirely different locations. As I am always game for something and have paid the price dearly many, many times, I accepted the offer, even without the promise of remuneration, groupies galorski or exotic locations for the photoshoot, like Fiji, Balmoral Castle, In 'N Out Burger. In the end, this here image was produced: Paul, The Aspiring Rock Star. There is no question, it is superbly done. It was when this shot was taken however, that I suggested to not focus on the mug behind the guitar but rather, on Martha's headstock. I have been given permission by Mr. Vraets to do with what I wish of the shots, as long as he gots the credit. Consider that done. Thanks Bill!
Some ear-jangling tunage for thoust soul: 'Something's Missing' - John Mayer
Dang! I almost forgot... I used this fellow's texture here: Dirk Wüstenhagen.. Thanks Dirk.
