I Linger Breathlessly

There is a beach, not far from Carmel-By-The-Sea, California, that during the heyday of the early 70’s, the psychedelia-inspired artist, Tomoko Hirakawa, created his infamous ‘sand painting’, I Linger Breathlessly Amongst the Ruins of Nan Madol. It is the type of beach that, if frolicking cast-free, smiting a fancy at will, or oddly enough, blissfully exhaling frivolity on a standard-size canvas...

Been going back in time a bit lately and revisiting some old Genesis...surely it can not be denied that in a musical sense at the very least, Selling England by the Pound was where it all finally came together and was the steppingstone for the truly genius release of the double-LP The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...a simply stunning musical masterpiece from front to back (and unfortunately the last with Peter Gabriel, as well as the dividing line between "old" and "new" Genesis). So, from that very harbinger album:
