There was a railway scene in the movie Dr. Zhivago that was filmed in this location looking up the Yoho River valley. This scene was doubling for the Ural Mountains in Russia. Many sources state that parts of Dr. Zhivago were filmed in Alberta, but this scene was most definitely in British Columbia.
