In the foreground is the 1886 built E&N Railway, trainless for about a decade, now. Running over the top is the Nanaimo Parkway (Hwy 19) which opened in 1997 (111 years after the E&N). It is anything but vehicle-less. This is located at mile 69.5 of the E&N's Victoria Subdivision, on the south side of Nanaimo, Vancouver Island.
