Where Monsters Dwell

One of my earliest artistic influences was Basil Gogos, who painted a memorable series of covers for Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine in the 1960s.

Another influence was the monster series of titles published by Atlas (now Marvel) Comics in the late 1950s and early 60s. These featured striking artwork by Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko.

My Monster Gallery is a tribute to Mr. Gogos, FM magazine and those crazy but wonderful Atlas comics.
