Port Mouton Lighthouse

Inspired by a postcard mailed in 1908. Lighthouses are disappearing Nova Scotia icons. This one (also known as Spectacle Island Lighthouse) was saved and repaired by a group of local residents in 2005. To me there is a parallel between the decline of the postcard tradition and the loss of lighthouses, due to technological changes.
