FreightConnection 92 was a rail freight exhibition at the NEC Birmingham on i13-5/9/1992
Sponsored by Railfreight Distribution featured stalls and vehicles from many builders, owners and users of rail freight in the UK and on the continent.
One of the aims was to promote international rail freight. In conjunction with the exhibition four class 90 locomotives were named, three of which were painted in the corporate liveries of European railway companies.
