Ships of the 1930s flotilla, HMAS STUART [I], VOYAGER [I] and VENDETTA [I] tied up at old Garden Island. RAN Historical.

5142. A image from that period time of millenia, when Garden Island was still an island, and before eveything got bigger during WWII.

 

This is an unusual view of these three - VAMPIRE and WATERHEN of the flotilla are missing, but perhaps we can find them in another view. We had a shoreward view of this group - that is, taken from astern - back at pic 417, and have to wonder if it was taken at the same time. It's here:
