With These Rings
There used to be four... Todd and I chose these two-part, interlocking commitment bands with waves, since we both have this crazy love of water. So it only seemed fitiing that we have our ceremony on the beach in Sarasota, Florida.
We went bike riding a few months ago ( remember the sunglass story? ) and decided to visit our favorite spot called Turning Point Park. There is a long wooden walkway over the water that is perfect for feeding the ducks, swans and turtles which has become one of our favorite thing to stop and do before heading back.
As I was putting the bread bag back into my knapsack, the top part of my ring flew off and started bouncing and rolling in circles over and across the slats. We were both stunned and watched it make several turns, finally hit an edge, jump up and fall perfectly through one of the spaces in the wood.
Now I do have a penchant for losing things, but I told Todd, who was in tears, that at least we'll both always know where it is. Much later he came up with another observation. Since it had waves, maybe it just wanted to go home. I think I like his expanation more than my own.
Happy 14th Anniversary T!
...and here's to many, many more!

This is Todd's version. :-)
