The Switch Tamping machine corrects the height and lateral position of the railroad track. It can be used on a turn outs and straight track.

Location: Imlay City, MI on the Canadian National Flint Subdivision formerly Grand Trunk Western RR ~ Maintenance took place in fall of 2020 program highlights included:
•Replacement of approximately 5 miles of rail
•Installation of over 105,000 new railroad ties
•Rebuilds of 24 road crossing surfaces
•Maintenance work on of bridges, level crossings,
culverts, signal systems and other track infrastructure
