Into the fuzzy void -[ HMM ]-

Getting close with a leaf of, if my research is correct, a felt bush or elephant's ear kalanchoe (Kalanchoe beharensis). This plant, an intriguing but mysterious shrub with thorny stalks as a contrast to its fuzzy leaves, came with the house I bought in 1996.

 

This view of the leaf is about 2½" (63.5mm) wide.
