Looks cool, burns hot -[ HMM ]-

It's kind of ironic that the color normally associated with coolness also indicates a very hot gas flame.

 

This is the first time I used my Kenko 2X teleconverter with the Canon 100mm macro lens. Good thing the combination worked well, given the need to keep a safe distance from the flame.
