Gramma is still a hippie at heart. :) Dharma has a great beginners kit for small groups. We dyed 6 shirts and 3 flour sack dish towels with some left over, probably enough for a small shirt or one more flour sack dish towel. And additional purchase of distilled water was required due to hard water. We already had a 3 gallon bucket with a lid, plastic garbage sacks to cover the picnic bench, and for curing the dyed shirts, and additional surgical gloves. I mixed up the dye and soda ash soak water the night before.
