the last of the tomatoes

These are the last of the tomatoes. I picked them all because it's sure to drop below freezing sometime this week. It's kind of too bad, really- the seeds I saved from those weird chocolate romas I got at the co-op grew into the most healthy, persistent tomatoes I've ever had. The plants are as green and fresh as they were in july, and they are still flowering too. I'll be sure and save the seeds from this year's batch.
