Male Northern Cardinal - High Point North Carolina Guilford County

I really enjoyed going to some of my favorite places today to try and get a few photos. This was taken on South Main St in High Point but a little bit later I had some excitement at Armstrong Park when a runner spooked a deer and it ran past me as I sat in the truck. I knew about where the deer might be heading so I took off a few blocks and I got to see the doe come up the creek bank and go thru the gates at High Point University. All I got was a few tail shots but I am glad the deer made it safely that far. It only had a short distance to go to get to a wooded area.
