Beautiful Lady - Northern Cardinal - High Point North Carolina
With the leaves coming out on the trees it makes for a nice background, the Cardinals are all chasing each other so not very many showed up at one of my favorite places to shoot. It's the same way at home and you go thru this period of all chasing and mating !! Notice the pieces of green leaves and buds on the perch, the Cardinals and White-throated Sparrows all clean their bill on it !!
