Beautiful little White-throated Sparrow - High Point North Carolina
I decided to highlight this beautiful little Sparrow because they do not get much attention . Look how pretty the yellow is on this little bird and the markings and feather detail. In one of my favorite places to call birds up for a small treat of seed, bread and crackers these little birds come straight out of the thicket to get their share. The last few days the Grackles have came and try to run the small birds away but I dont let them. The Grackles will chase the small birds and even the Cardinals after they have grabbed something and take off to the thickets of brush. Today about fifteen Grackels made their appearance and was so noisy that a Crow even chimed in but most of the little birds did get something to eat. I seen the Brown Thrasher today but it did not come out of the bushes, the male Eastern Towhee did come along with the Mockingbird that looks a lot better after the tick dropped off a couple of weeks ago. The Cardinals did come but I know everyone is getting tired of Cardinal photos so I am trying to highlight some other birds. Today also a few Titmouse showed up and they are such a pretty bird also and if you get a chance look at the photo of one. Thanks everyone for all of your support and adding as favorites and your comments and views !!
