This lady bird finally stayed still long enough for me to get a closeup capture. The Eastern Towhees have been a delightful find for me in this area as they may be plentiful in other localities of North Carolina you seldome see them in High Point. The female is always the cautious one to come to get something to eat as she comes low to the ground and will not get on the branch I have positioned meanwhile I always see the male about five feet up in the bushes before he will come to the branch.
