Red-spotted purple Butterfly eating at over ripe apple

Different angle of the Red-spotted purple Butterfly. This one is on the ground eating what we would call a rotten apple. They really like the over ripe fruit. The two little white spots are just to confuse any bird or other predator this butterfly may have. The tail is in the air just a little and I was trying to capture this one as the wings opened.
