Overcoming Obstacles

The mule deer lived in the open range southeast of the Denver Metropolitan area. In the 1990’s the population growth exploded and there was development all along the front range of Colorado. Some of the wildlife moved away but the mule deer stayed and used the strength in their back legs to cross the man-made boundaries.
