Light The Way

The Peggy's Point lighthouse, in its current form, was built in 1915. Prior to this more modern concrete version, there was a wooden tower dating back to 1868. The current light is a rotating red one, installed in 2009. Not very romantic or visually attractive, when compared to the old style lamps with complex magnification lenses.
