Stoic In A Storm

It was snowing heavily on this great grey owl, but it didn't seem to care as it carried on in its search for voles, only shaking its head once in a while to remove the accumulated load of snow.

 

The owl stayed on this perch for quite a while, probably for over 30 minutes, before moving on. I also posted a video of it a while back, which I still enjoy as it really shows just how much snow was coming down.
