A Cold Morning At The Marsh

It is pretty neat to watch the red-winged blackbirds, and other species too, as they sing or call first thing on a cold morning. The moisture in their breath condenses into fine droplets and, if the conditions are right, refract the sunlight into rainbow colours. The vapour swirls and dances in the air before dissipating.
