Black-capped Chickadee

I didn't have many days available for doing local bird photography this winter, so I tended to prioritize seeking out great grey owls. I did spend one day at a local park, enjoying the common birds you tend to encounter in winter. The black-capped chickadee is always the first to come close to 'beg' for food. Being well rewarded from previous human encounters, they will vocalize a lot and will flutter nearby to get your attention, anticipating a handout.

They are cooperative, cute, and cheery, so I always try to get images of them.
