Sedimentary rock in the cliffs at Gwithian Cornwall. Veins of Quartz running through the layers have been stained by oxidised tin that spilled into the sea from the Red river. The red river is a direct link to all the Tin mining areas around Camborne and Redruth. It ran red with tin but now is almost free from this problem.
