MemProg
My parallel Flash/EPROM memory programmer. I built this for an i8088 BBS project to program the ROM. Currently it supports only 1Mbit Flash (most PC BIOS chips in a DIP package). It can support up to 4Mbit after two more wires are added. EPROM support requires an additional supply voltage and a single transistor, that also is not implemented yet.
The device is built around an Atmega8 MCU with RS232 connectivity through MAX232. The address is set by two 74HC4040 ripple counters. The three LEDs at the top indicate when /CS, /WE and /OE signals are active.
