Kelvin Scottish 1527 LMS 153W
Kelvin Scottish Leyland Fleetline 1527 is seen on Milngavie Road at Kessington working a 19A journey from Milngavie across the city to Broomhouse in January 1987.
The 19A replaced the Midland Scottish 110 service between Milngavie and Glasgow and was part of a new group of routes 19/19A/19B Kelvin introduced on 31 August 1986 for their deregulation battle with Strathclyde Buses. The routes ran via Maryhill giving a 10 minute frequency from Canniesburn Toll to Baillieston.
The 19A survived as the Milngavie - Glasgow service into the 1990s becoming the 119 into First days and is now covered by the cross city 60A to Easterhouse.
