WrecordsByMonkey, the Brooklyn based company that creates accessories out of recycled records, is proud to announce the release of their fall/winter 2008 jewelry line, the Heritage Collection. This elegant collection, inspired by another century, is comprised of vinyl record pendants, earrings, a charm necklace and a keychain. With jewelry that is reminiscent of flea market relics and antique shop treasures, this collection’s unique combination of vintage imagery with recycled materials showcases another level of WrecordsByMonkey’s design style. The pendants are in the shape of a classic cameo, an ornate picture frame and a chandelier. All pendants come on a gunmetal chain to compliment the record. The earrings of the collection come in four varieties: a silhouette, and 3 sizes of ornate charms, which add a graceful touch to anyone’s style. The charm necklace contains one large and one small ornate charm, and the chic keychain is also an ornate charm. Every piece in this collection is double layered and comes in three varieties: record on record, record on beige acrylic and cherry wood on record. Combining a classic touch with recycled materials, this collection is convincingly contemporary.
