Here is my inspiration for this quilt.

There are few architectural elements more American than the modest log cabin. It was this basic yet sturdy homestead that everyone who settled American lived in. It is no wonder that countless quilts were made to honor the log cabin pattern, one which remains as popular today as it was over 100 years ago.
