Move 273/365

Challenge of this week given by our colleague was a shot with a low POV... had a few ideas, and thought of going to Detroit.. but it was getting cold and nasty with high winds and rain, so instead went to another city where we thought we'd definitely see high foot traffic.

 

Took a few shots at one location, but for some reason, the foot traffic was very light, so moved to another location where we saw high foot traffic and set up the tripod as low to the ground as possible Took quite a few shots whenever people walked in front of my camera. I saw those kids in the b/g playing, but didn't really expect anything good out of it.. But, as I was going thru the files on the computer, I was rather surprised to get this shot. I couldn't believe that the girl was perfectly stationary while everybody around her was moving..and, I knew I got my shot. I may have other decent shots, but I'm not going to bother with those until later..

 

The original crop had too much room on the bottom of the frame, so I cheated and cropped it out.. :-)

 

Basic b/w conversion with a little bit boost in contrast and adjusting the brightness a little bit.
