Beach walker
It was our first morning at the resort in Puerto Plata, I woke up early, obviously, to witness the sunrise by the beach.. at first, I was a bit disappointed, 'coz I saw the first rays of light come up behind the big hills that were behind the resort. But, just a few minutes later, magic started to happen.. maybe the Sun God was happy with me or took mercy on me and decided to put on an awesome show for me..!! Whatever the case, I started to look for some interesting foreground material to create a good composition. Found some seaweed, some drift wood and some other stuff that had washed ashore, but nothing created the impact I was looking for.. surprsingly, I did not find any shore birds either... then all of a sudden, I saw a human figure walk towards my direction.. what more could I've asked for.. as he walked closer and started to come within the frame where his shape could be recognized, I took a couple of pictures. This magic only lasted about 5 minutes, and I'm just glad I woke up early, even during a vacation!
Okay, so I enhanced the tones a bit to create the composition that I had in my mind, I hope I did not overdo it.. but, I'll let you folks decide that.
