First of 3 photos with the new Nikkor 400mm f/2.8 @ 1/250 f/4.0. in the rain, a very dark day. Not a good day to be testing any lens. Seems a little soft to me though? But I can't tell under these conditions. I'll wait for a sunny day and try it again. But rain or no rain I just had to try it out. Let me know what you think in the comments if you have a moment?
There is one little caveat though, it's not actually brand new, it's a used lens. New ones are way out of my league. :^ P
