John 14-5-9
Jesus leaves no doubt here as to who he is, and how to get to God the Father. He is God the Father, so you can't possibly get to God without going through JESUS. He and the Father are ONE!
So much for this nonsense that, "there are many paths to God".
Jesus states here very clearly, "He is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life". No One comes to the father except by Me." We either believe him or we will never know the GOD that created all things, including us.
Jesus came to bring life to the dead. We were all born Spiritually dead, separated from God from birth, because of the sin of not only Adam, but our own sins as well. When we come to Jesus by faith in who he is, his virgin birth, his death on the cross that takes away the sins of the whole world, his burial, and resurrected life on the third day. We not only receive forgiveness of sins, we also receive eternal life. And all that he is. In him we HAVE LIFE THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. 30 I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE."
31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him, 32 but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, CLAIM TO BE GOD." (John 10:27-33)
Notice if you will, that the Jews knew exactly what it was Jesus was saying about himself. But so-called Christians, can't figure it out? But Jesus explains, "My sheep listen to my voice:" So all those that aren't hearing Jesus aren't his sheep!
Do you have ears that will hear and eyes that can see? If so, Praise God for all the great things he has done...
