Hourai Bridge over the Yanai River
Hourai ("Treasure Come") Bridge over the Yanai River, Yanai City, Yamaguchi-ken, July 2015: First built in 1675, it connected Yanai wharves and warehouses to the paddies and fields on reclaimed land across the river. It was replaced by a stone bridge in 1881, during the Meiji era.
