An Art Nouveau Brooch of Gold and Garnets
This beautiful brooch was made in Britain in 1910. Created in the prevailing Art Nouveau style so fashionable in the early years of the Twentieth Century, the brooch features a stylised bough or branch bearing fruit and is made of 15 carat yellow gold, and features twenty-six small and seven large brilliant cut garnets. It measures four centimetres in width and one and half centimetres in height. With its curling foliage, it represents the delicate and elegant style of the Belle Époque.
