A Froth of White Cherry Blossoms - North Fitzroy
A few weeks ago I was out on a walk when I came across this wonderful froth of white cherry blossoms, tinged with a touch of pink on an old tree in the front garden of a grand Edwardian villa. The sunlight cascading through them made for a delightful half hour of happily photographing them. Due to quite a lot of cloud that day, I had to be patient and wait for the sun to appear and highlight them. The results I think, were well worth the wait.
Melbourne has experienced a colder and wetter than average winter this year, which is now bleeding well and truly into a wetter and greyer than average spring, however on the rare sunny days we are currently getting, the showing of flowers and blossoms is beautiful.
