Embossed Christmas tree
I made this card for the challenge on the Hero Arts blog. This week
the challenge is to use the colours magenta, violet, cherry and pale pink.
I'll enjoy this challenge, as it includes my favourite colours!
I've used sparkly pale pink card stock, violet ink for the stars and
snowflakes, darker pink for the word 'Joy' and cherry for the buttons.
I had the chance to use a friend's Cuttlebug, so I embossed some
card for the tree and inked the patterns on it by gently rubbing an inkpad
over the embossing. I stamped an all over background of stars and
snowflakeson the card and cut out one of the stars for the top of the tree.
I fixed the tree with 3D foam, and added a couple of buttons for interest.
I finished it by using a Hero Arts stamp to add the word 'Joy.'
