Distress inks: The beginning
They arrived!!! After BIG trouble with the nasty beaurocrats from uruguayan customs, my 1st distress inks arrived yesterday and this is what I did. I used a bunch of Jennifer's McGuire techniques from the Thinking Inking classes: distressed and water sprayed the background, aged the paper, died the flower and the twill and stamped my sentiment with distress ink too.
I had SOOO much fun! Love this stuff!
Thanks for looking :D
Supplies: Cream and white cardstock; PP: K&Co; Stamp: Hero Arts CL182 "Trees, birds and messages"; Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Broken China and Shabby Shutters; Others: white fabric flower, vintage button, twill.
