Vineyards near my place

The vines seem to lurch until mid May then they catch their footing and hurry to flowering end of June. It seems to have worked another time.

The second pole from the left points directly to Trifels Castle, where Richard Lionheart was kept for ransom, when returning from a crusade. A great shame I would say.
