Bon Nadal de Sitges

In the last few years I've often been in Spain in November. The weather has normally been good, and the light is exceptional. From about mid-November, however, things get a bit bizarre: blue skies, shirt-sleeve temperatures and Christmas decorations. This is from the Catalan resort of Sitges near Barcelona.

As Hemingway might have written on one of his Andalusian adventures: "Ask not for whom these jingle bells toll".
