The Haitian Ra-Ra parade at the New Orleans Jazz Fest in 2011 was enlightening in it's correlation to the famed 'second line' parades of New Orleans. The Ra-Ras are neighborhood groups from Haiti that make their own instruments, costumes, and music and parade in their homeland to celebrate culture, rain, sunshine, food, friendship and life in general.
