Always Watching

I watched this very attentive six foot alligator for a while as he got comfortable in the high-ground underbrush along the Palmetto trail in Louisiana's Jean Lafitte National Park south of New Orleans. Long lenses are advisable when photographing gators, and I listened to my own advice here!
