Some CD Magic for now .........from recent listening ......well BM's birthday was in Feb. ..

For those on small screens etc ~ ASWAD ~ Bob Marley ~ BM& Wailers ~ Canned Heat ~ Reggae Greats

 

ASWAD a tidy little Reggae band , I was lucky enough to see a few times:))

Bob Marley & the Wailers ~ probably all been said ~but if you listen carefully to Babylon by Bus, you might hear Jim and myself cheering at the Bingley Hall Concert :))) - there's a great quote " my music will go on forever "

Reggae Greats is a lot of Trojan Records magic and a presie from son to replace an old and worn LP record:))

Reggae is an Island double cd of gems

Canned Heat , may seem an odd one at first glance but several of their tracks were by old blues artists , and another to replace another very old and hammered LP

Note Another great band around at that time was Steel Pulse, who supported BM&W , had a great LP Handsworth Revolution :)))

 

Nov 2014 update

Listening to the top cd by ASWAD the other day, when a call centre rang up, bit slow to turn down vol....... the lass with a Midlands accent was amazed a person of my age liked them as well ... a good chat later :)))))
