This mixed media handbound journal is a commission piece influenced by one of my older works ‘Je T’aime Forever’. The side panels are reprinted from a collage of turn-of-the-century postcards from Germany. A beautiful, ornate escutcheon and a hand-sculpted red clay heart make the central assemblage, accompanied by an old barrel key. The covers are aged and protected by several coats of Varnish.
