Mountain Bluebird- 094A0597a1c

I was actually embarrassed to be seen with my camera this day after seeing a group of 5-6 birders/photographers far ahead of me walking about 20 feet apart herding these birds down the beach. It seemed that whenever the Bluebirds landed the photographers started to circle around them and the birds were pushed further along the beach. We all make the mistake of getting to close and flushing the birds at times but this was ongoing, apparently the photos were more important than the birds having a chance to feed. I turned away from the beach and went in search of other birds. Later in the day I returned to the beach. Upon seeing the bluebirds again I got a bit closer then planted myself down in the sand; I was rewarded when (see next photos) this bird landed only about 10 feet in front of me.
