Brief
To replace their current static website with a website that could be administered by personnel, who wouldn't have any HTML or programming skills. We worked with their existing marketing company to ensure that the website design was consistent with other online and offline collateral.
The site website needed to offer a secure customer area with customer-only content, as well as generating sales leads through whitepaper sign up forms and contact calls to action.
An organic search engine optimisation campaign to be implemented promoting the company for a number of industry-related keyphrases.
Solution
We custom built our most complex CMS to date with user roles and permissions, enabling personnel to create/modify content which couldn't be published until approved by a Publisher.
Live previews of content before publishing were implemented to ensure that the new content was correctly laid out etc. There are information nuggets throughout the site as well as news, courses, events, blogs, forums and polls modules.
The site was promoted to Google and 3 weeks later was being indexed and ranked on the search engine. An ongoing search engine optimisation campaign is in place for a number of industry related keyphrases such as:-
* help desk software
* itsm helpdesk software
* itil helpdesk software
* it service management software
