Berylline X Broad-billed Hummingbird hybrid
Confirmed by Laurens Halsey through eBird.
This hybrid was seen at the Santa Rita Lodge in Madera Canyon, Arizona.
It has a lack of rust color in the greater coverts and at the base of the secondaries, and more red color at the base of the bill than the pure Berylline bird which was also being seen in this spot in August.
